WRU RUGBY PROGRAMME IN EDUCATION (RPE) at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman

The school has one of only 16 RPE licences which enables us to compete in the elite schools and colleges league. The Purpose of this is to support high potential rugby players in the Talent Development phase (16 – 18) of their Player Journey. This is achieved by:

• Providing  a specialised programme that combines rugby with a players chosen academic qualification
• A rugby timetable to accommodate rugby training and competition that provides a minimum of 12 hours per week per player
• Allowing each registered player to have access to a personal rugby development programme that is monitored by the WRU
