Our Values

The aims of our school are:

• To provide a warm, caring and inclusive school community for pupils and staff in which they can enjoy working together and feel a strong sense of belonging within TeuluYDA.
• To nurture and develop the intellectual, social and physical potential of each child to the fullest extent, ensuring they are confident to take on the challenges of life after school.
• To encourage lively, independent and enquiring minds, providing an equal opportunity for all, regardless of gender, race, age and ability to gain qualifications, knowledge and skills relevant to their future needs, and to ensure a base sufficient to facilitate progression into employment, further education, training or other roles.
• To develop an understanding of respect for religious and moral values in our society and in differing societies. 
• To enhance a knowledge of and empathy for our own particular cultural inheritance and language in a thoroughly bilingual environment, giving all an opportunity to study Welsh as well as English, and using both languages extensively as a medium of instruction.
